The theme of this year’s World Tourism Day is “Rethinking Tourism”, and rightly so. We all know that the pandemic has severely impacted our industry and disproportionately on women. We need to empower our workforce to be more inclusive to address this imbalance. Specifically, both men and women need to work together to bring gender equity at par for building a sustainable model for our organizations and our industry.
Rethinking Tourism & Hospitality: Leading Towards an Inclusive Future is an event Organized by Academy of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management and Center for Leadership and Entrepreneurship in collaboration with World Women Tourism
This event will address a critical dialogue regarding the challenges facing women in our industry. In the event, we will discuss how we can implement strategies for women to be more visible at work, redesign the future, and how men can be better allies to our women co-workers. The event aims to advance the dialogue on gender equity in hospitality and how ACA can champion this in Nepal.
