UN Tourism both develops brand-new programs in collaboration with academic partners, or co-branding existing programs that meet rigorous criteria, revising that the curricular is updated, relevant and aligned with the SDGs, as well as innovation and recent trends in tourism.
- Bachelor of Science in International Sustainable Tourism. Developed in collaboration with Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and endorsed by the Swiss Government, this program equips students with a comprehensive understanding of business administration, innovation and sustainable tourism management.
- UN Tourism experts contribute to curriculum design, deliver specialized classes, and provide students with opportunities to visit United Nations facilities, enriching their global perspective on tourism and sustainability.
- UN Tourism also engages with leading universities to co-brand existing programs that meet rigorous criteria related to innovation in content, teaching methodologies, and alignment with industry needs. This initiative ensures that tourism education remains at the forefront of global best practices.
