Position: Tourism Education Expert
Location: Homebase and Central Asia
Duration: 6 months
Responsibilities

The Tourism Education Expert will be responsible for leading the Tourism Faculty Development Project for one country in Central Asia. The responsibilities of this position will be:

  • Design an eight-module training structure for Hospitality Educators and Trainers at universities and colleges to improve their teaching and training performance.
  • Participate in the selection process of adequate international experts for developing and delivering the training modules.
  • Coordinate the delivery of the training modules.
  • Design and supervise the final evaluation test or assignment.
  • Overall Quality follow-up.
  • Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
  • Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Prepare a final report evaluating the overall activity and proposing adjustments for future editions of this programme.
  • Propose follow-up activities.
  • Carry out any other project-related duties as required by the project.

Qualifications

The Expert will have at least 15 years of work experience in tourism human resources and a proven track record in leading projects and project teams. A deep understanding of tourism human capital development issues in the Central Asia Region and internationally is a must. Fluency and report-writing skills in English are essential.
