UN Tourism has again placed the focus on tourism investments, bringing together public and private sector leaders in Tirana.

UNWTO Secretary-General Zurab Pololikashvili has met with His Excellency Edi Rama, Prime Minister of Albania, to explore shared priorities for boosting tourism’s role in economic development and social opportunity.

The international tourism community, led by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), has shown their solidarity with Albania as the country works to recover from the November 2019 earthquake.
