UN Tourism Academy is looking for a COMPANY to participate in the creation of a Online training through WhatsApp on Hospitality and Vocational Tourism Staff with a possible duration of one year period, enabling access for 2,500 participants. Companies applying for this project ought to create an interactive platform which provides asynchronous online training to hospitality and vocational tourism staff on customer service and experience through WhatsApp.

Applicant companies are expected to have the following competences: 

• Be able to work in English and Spanish fluently across its structure;
• Have proven experience in creating content in interactive formats, including videos, podcasts and other learning tools - other innovative learning tools proposed by the applicants will be highly evaluated;
• Have proven experience in similar online education projects, specially with world-class universities or business schools;
• Have broad international, and private and public experience;
• Preferably know the tourism reality of different regions;
• Preferably have high level of awareness concerning international issues;
• Preferably have a good knowledge of UN Tourism's work and programmes.

Other specifications in regard to content design / learning path and platform to deliver the training:

• Syllabus design on professional development for hospitality and vocational tourism staff, including but not limited to customer service, customer experience, safety, tourism guidance, and upselling;
• Design of 8 asynchronous micro-lessons covering the corresponding topics;
• Production of high-quality multimedia content (videos, audio, images) for each lesson;
• Integration of interactive elements (practical activities, case studies, evaluations);
• Review and validation of content by subject experts;
• Adaptation of the content as requested;
• Setting of a WhatsApp enabled platform for the 8 micro-lessons;
• Implementation or an Artificial Intelligence generated chatbot for immediate responses to participants;
• Collection of data for corresponding analysis on engagement and skills development and assessment;
• Maintenance of the platform.
