It's official! Equatorial Guinea has taken an important and firm step towards tourism development with the implementation of the issuance of electronic visas, effective 1 July 2023  

The Republic of Equatorial Guinea has opened its doors to the world in order to help to make the country a tourism and economic centre of the region, thus expanding the scope of the economic diversification and growth of tourism, as a result of the vision and resolve of the Head of State OBIANG NGUEMA MBASOGO and the determination of the Vice-President of the Republic in making this project a reality. 

This new tool provides an easy and secure way of granting visas online. It has eliminated all the difficulties that business travellers and tourists used to face to reach the country and thus facilitates the country’s connectivity with the rest of the world. This tool makes the process convenient, secure, efficient and transparent. This reduction of difficulties in obtaining an entry visa to Equatorial Guinea is a clear sign of the desire of the Government of Equatorial Guinea to open up the country to the world in general and to tourism in particular.  

With this launch, Equatorial Guinea enters the second phase of its strategic plan for tourism development, confirming tourism as an essential pillar for the sustainable development of Equatorial Guinea's economy. 

How to apply for the electronic visa 

1. Go to https://equatorialguinea-evisa.com/ 

2. If this is your first time to register, go to the home page and click on “How To Apply” for more details on the following steps: 

Step 1: Provide the requested details and upload the necessary documents 

Step 2: Pay the fee and service charge online 

Step 3: Download the E Visa receipt 

3. Once you have read and understood the procedures, go back to the home page and click on “Apply Evisa Now”.
