First International Congress on Public WOrks Heritage and Civil Engineering

Spain has a valuable public works heritage made up of bridges, aqueducts, roads, railway lines, fortifications, dams, canals, ports and lighthouses. Allocating resources and investment to the protection, conservation and rehabilitation of this attractive cultural capital is a great opportunity to promote economic and tourism development and the structuring of depopulated Spain.
The Colegio de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos (Spanish Council of Civil Engineers) and its Branch in Castilla-La Mancha are organising the 1st International Congress on Public Works Heritage and Civil Engineering with the aim of identifying, celebrating and making profitable the heritage of public works in its landscape environment.
