Tourism Development Plan

Vision

A modern and open tourism economy based on smart tourist specialization of Polish tourist regions, constituting a key knowledge-based factor of the regional and national development and strengthening the country's competitiveness in the European Union.

Main Objective

Promote the development of competitive and innovative tourism through supporting the tourism sector enterprises, organizations, institutions and initiatives, while respecting the principles of sustainable development.

Operational Objectives:

  1. Develop innovativeness, attractiveness and quality of tourist services and products
  2. Strengthen social activity and entrepreneurship in the tourism sector and increase the competence of HR
  3. promote priority tourism products of the country and the regions, as well as their economic specializations based on tourism
  4. develop and modernize space for the development of tourism and tourist infrastructure while complying with the principles of sustainable development and environmental protection regulations.

Ministry of Sports and Tourism of Poland is working on a new Tourism Development Plan for the upcoming years.
