Two companies and four associations from Israel signed the Private Sector Commitment to the UNWTO Global Code of Ethics for Tourism on 6 February 2018 in the context of the 24th International Mediterranean Tourism Market – IMTM. The signing was held in the presence of H.E. Mr. Yariv Levin, Minister of Tourism of Israel and Mr. Pascal Lamy, Chair of the World Committee on Tourism Ethics.The entities which took part to the signing ceremony were: Israel Hotel Association (IHA), Israel Incoming Tour Operators Association, Israel Tour Guide Association, "Moreshet Derach" - the Tourist Guide Union for Incoming Tourism to Israel, ORTRA - Professional Conference Organizers (PCOs) & Destination Management Company’s (DMC) and the Tel Aviv Convention Center.
