On behalf of Consorcio Dominicano de la Competitividad Turística (CDCT), its Chairman, Mr. Rafael Blanco Tejera, signed the Private Sector Commitment to the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism on the 17 February 2014, on the occasion of the International Seminar on Tourism Destinations Management in Cultural Heritage Sites, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Consorcio Dominicano de la Competitividad Turística (CDCT), was one of the 11 Dominican tourism enterprises and associations which signed the UNWTO Private Commitment to the Code of Ethics.
