On behalf of Associação Portuguesa de Agências de Viagens, the enterprise's President, Pedro Costa Ferreira signed the Private Sector Commitment to the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism on the 2 December 2013, on the occasion of the 3rd UNWTO International Conference on Tourism and the Media, held in Estoril, Portugal, in the presence of H.E. Mr. Adolfo Mesquita Nunes, Secretary of State for Tourism of Portugal, and Mr. Taleb Rifai, UNWTO Secretary-General.
