Hoteleiros e Similares do Algarve, the enterprise's Director João Luís Soares signed the Private Sector Commitment to the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism on the 2 December 2013, on the occasion of the 3rd UNWTO International Conference on Tourism and the Media, held in Estoril, Portugal, in the presence of H.E. Mr. Adolfo Mesquita Nunes, Secretary of State for Tourism of Portugal, and Mr. Taleb Rifai, UNWTO Secretary-General.

AIHSA - Associação dos Ind. Hoteleiros e Similares do Algarve was one of the 17 tourism enterprises and associations which signed the UNWTO Private Commitment to the Code of Ethics in December 2013 in Estoril.
