AM Reports: Volume ten - Global Benchmarking for City Tourism Measurement
The Global Benchmarking for City Tourism Measurement Report studies the importance of measurement tools for cities, as many of them become incresingly interested not only in monitoring and evaluating their tourism performance but also acknowledging the economic impact it has, as well its social and environmental indicators.
It also formulates a recommended approach for measurement and economic analysis for city tourism at a local level, alongside a selection of existing approaches currently being conducted to benchmark subnational destinations. Furthermore, a set of nine committed cities Barcelona, Bogotá, Buenos Aires, Cape Town, Istanbul, Melbourne, Sao Paulo, Vienna and Vilnius were selected to conduct an analysis over their current publicly available indicators used to benchmark their measurement.
