UNWTO welcomes the creation of Lithuania’s new tourism brand

With the aim of underlining the sustainable approach of Lithuania to tourism, the country has launched the campaign ‘Real is beautiful’ that emphasizes the relevance of landscapes and nature.
“The mix of creativity and ownership is a basic ingredient of a consistent branding strategy. Lithuania has demonstrated strong willingness to support its tourism sector and its unique treasures such as nature and culture,” said UNWTO Secretary-General Taleb Rifai.
Besides the slogan ‘Real is Beautiful’, the focus of the campaign is the visual representation of the tourism brand of Lithuania in a post stamp. The logo resembles tree branches and is filled in a pastel mint symbol of a postage stamp. Complementary images have been created as well, which, along with the logo, help to deliver a more accurate message – namely, “Meet people”, “Taste Food”, “Stay Active”, “See Nature,” or “Explore Culture”.
