The UNWTO executive training courses in Saudi Arabia started on 20 May

 

With the participation of SCTA licensed operators, the World Tourism Organization, its UNWTO.Themis Foundation and Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities inaugurated the first course in Riyadh on 20 May.

 

The 3 UNWTO executive training course in Saudi Arabia on Tourism Principles and Practice for SCTA Licensed Operators, organized by the World Tourism Organization, its UNWTO.Themis Foundation and the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, was inaugurated on 20 May by Omar Valdez, Executive Director of the UNWTO.Themis Foundation; Dr Salah K Al-Bukhyyet, Vice-president for Investment and Tourism Development Division of the Saudi Commission and the facilitators of the course.

 

This course is to provide an introduction to global tourism as well as to the tourism value chain, where participants are to receive an immersion on the role and programmes of the UNWTO and the SCTA in the form of an organizing framework, with the aim to explore and analyze the various components of the framework with a view to ensuring they become fully familiar with the key issues, concepts and activities of tourism and of their specific sector.
