"Flavours of the Silk Road" Conference - Presentations, Conclusions and Photos now available!
On 6 and 7 September representatives from tourism ministries, national tourism offices, tourism officials, experts and grass roots practitioners from across the Silk Road countries met in Baku, Azerbaijan for the “Flavours of the Silk Road: International Conference on Food, Culture and Tourism”. The goal of this conference was to highlight the huge potential of the Silk Road region for food and intangible culture tourism. During the conference experts from the areas of tourism, culture and gastronomy presented the latest findings and trends related to culinary tourism and shared examples of best practices across the Silk Road and internationally.
Participants of the conference are kindly asked to fill in this conference evaluation form and send it to silkroad@unwto.org by 10 October.
