The UNWTO Committee on Sustainable Development, a subsidiary body of the Executive Council met in Athens on 3-5 June. It was the first meeting with the new membership and after a long interval since the last session held in 2005. The strategic importance of the sustainability agenda in UNWTO and the role and activities of the DST were extensively discussed and reviewed.
