Last December 2009, were evaluated the proposals for the study on "The Tourism Labour Market in the Middle East/North Africa Region", sponsored by the World Tourism Organization and the Arab Organization of Tourism. The project was awarded to the Surrey University, UK, member of the UNWTO.TedQual network.

The aim of this study is to analyze gaps in the skills of the workforce in the region and provide practical solutions and recommendations for the development of efficient policies in the short and long term.
