World Tourism Day (One Billion Tourists, One Billion Opportunities)
On the occasion of the World Tourism Day 2015, Tourism Research Center of Allameh Tabatabai University intends to hold an international conference. The title of this conference is One Billion Tourists, One Billion Opportunities. It will be held at the Milad tower International Conference Center, in Tehran, Iran, September 28th, 2015 and workshops will be held on 29th in the Faculty of Management and Accounting of allameh Tabatabai University. This Conference will bring together government officials, practitioners, researchers and educators from around the world who are engaged in tourism. Our key-note speakers are Professor Jafar Jafari (Wisconsin University), Dr. David Weaver (Griffith University), Dr. Ralf Buckley (Griffith University) and Dr. Syamsuddin Arif (Technology University of Malaysia). The Conference topics are: Tourism and Strengthening National Identity and Ensuring Regional Peace, tourism and Fostering Environment Protection, Tourism, Economic Resilience and Post Sanctions Opportunities, tourism and Urban Economy Diversification, tourism and the Development of Accommodations and Tour-Operating Services.
