WORLD TOURISM DAY 2015 | GERÊS | PORTUGAL
On September 27th is celebrated the World Tourism Day and in Gerês (National Park Peneda-Gerês) the tourism companies association Gerês Viver Turismo together with the Municipality of Terras de Bouro will mark the date with a guided and free guided hike and free visits to the Museum Centre of Vilarinho das Furnas, composed of the Ethnographic Museum and the Museum of Geira (Roman road). The hike, guided by Parque Cerdeira company will be done through the mythical trail "Fenda da Calcedónia". Registrations are free and must be made until 11pm, September 24th. The theme set by the World Tourism Organization to mark the World Tourism Day in 2015 is "One billion tourists, a billion opportunities", so don`t miss this opportunity to visit the Gerês (National Park Peneda-Gerês) .
