Sustainable Marine and Coastal Tourism in Bangladesh: Call for Action
Save Our Sea; the social initiative to explore, document & efficiently manage marine ecosystem of Bay of Bengal is going to organize a daylong Roundtable and a Workshop on the occasion of the World Tourism Day 2014. The roundtable titled 'Community Based Tourism and Sustainable Development in Coastal Areas of Bangladesh' will be held on 26th September. On 27th September Save Our Sea will arrange a workshop to declare a Call for Action to ensure Sustainable Marine and Coastal Tourism in Bangladesh. Government Officials, Leaders of Community Based Organizations, NGO Leaders, Stakeholders from Private Sectors, Experts and Journalists will participate in the workshop. From the event they will issue a 'Call for Action' paper to the government.
