Silk Road at WTM Speed Networking Event

Speed Networking is a not to be missed initiative helping to drive business and add value to Meridian Club members and Exhibitors. This year, the morning session creates special opportunities for the Silk Road tour operators to meet potential buyers. A special SILK ROAD hospitality desk will be organized to assist SR exhibitors.

2011 Speed Networking saw the participation of 204 buyers and 411 exhibitors, representing 28 countries. The event was a big success: we received positive feedbacks from the Silk Road countries’ tour operators that have participated and had the chance to strengthen their distribution internationally through new tourism partners.

The Speed Networking format allows for buyers and Silk Road exhibitors and co-exhibiters to meet for 5 minute mini meetings to discover whether they have similar business interests that they would like to pursue during the remaining four days of WTM.
