The Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation, Mumbai, India, Regional office, Aurangabad in association with the Department of Tourism Adminitration , Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabadis conducting a semiinar on Tourism and sustainable energy. The said conference will be presided over by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr.Pandharipande,Mr. Harpreet Singh, President, Aurangabad Hotel and Restaurant Association will inaugurate, Key note address on Tourism and biodiversity by Dr.Vijay Diwan, eminent environmentalist,Senior Regional Manager,Maharashtra Tourism, Mr. Chandrashekhar Jaiswal will speak on the Challenges facing the Tourism industry in the 21st century: the sustainable avenue. Prof and Director of the Department of Tourism Administartion,Dr.BAMU will make a presentation on Tourism and sustainable energies: emerging research areas. Dr Madhuri Sawant Ragde will deal with Tourism and sustainable energies, issues in India. The post graduate students of the Masters programme in Tourism, Research scholars of all cadres, Maharashtra Tourism staff and local stakeholders are expected to join.
