International Conference on Tourism, Religions and Dialogue of Cultures
The International Conference on Tourism, Religions and Dialogue of Cultures (29-31 October 2007, Cordoba, Spain) was organized by the World Tourism Organization, at he invitation of the Government of Spain, and in ooperation with the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce, the Junta of Andalusia and the Municipality of Cordoba.
The speeches and presentations delivered at the Conference, alongside those initiatives and case studies featured during the event's three panel sessions, are contained in the Report of the International Conference on Tourism, Religions and Dialogue of Cultures.
The principle themes of the conference were:
- (a) Tourism, Religions and the Dialogue of Civilizations;
- (b) Religious Tourism; and
- (c) Sustainability of Religious Tourism Destinations.
