A collaboration of Tourism corporation and Friends of Paraplegics "Wheelchair users camping in hilly Northern areas to discover accessible Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan"
Accessible Tourism for all is about the creation of environments that can cater for the needs of all of us, whether we are traveling or staying at home. Wheelchair users are camping in hilly areas of Nathia Gali, Donga Gali, Ayubia to discover accessible Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Due to a disability, even temporary, families with small children, ageing population and especially wheelchair users, at some point in our lives, sooner or later, will benefit of universal accessibility in tourism. Wheelchair users form Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be selected to take part in plenary and syndicate sessions during the adventure trip, and engage in such activities that stimulate wheelchair users to learn essential skills needed to access tourism and make tourism an instrument for generating employment even for wheelchair users. The theme of this year will promote the image of our land as accessible and people as friendly.
