Bhutan celebrated World Tourism Day in Thimphu by inviting people from different regions of Bhutan to showcase their cuisine, and arts and crafts. The Day was graced by His Excellency Lyonpo Dorji Wangdi, Minister for Labour and Human Resources. The message was clear - "Tourism does link cultures". Tourists and Bhutanese people enjoyed various cultural programmes. The Event was organised by Tourism Council of Bhutan and Association of Bhutanese Tour Operators with the support from WWF, Drukair (Royal Bhutan Airlines), and other stakeholders.
