On the 3rd of July 2013, 7 Romanian companies and associations, namely the Tourism Journalists and Writers Association in Romania (AJTR), the National Association of Travel Agencies in Romania (ANAT), the National Association of Tourist Resorts in Romania (ANSTR), the National Association of Rural, Eco and Cultural Tourism in Romania (ANTREC), the Federation of Hotel Industry in Romania (FIHR), the Federation of Romanian Tourism Employers (FPTR), and the Organization of Spa Owners in Romania (OPTBR), signed the Commitment at the International Tourism Conference: Identifying the competitive advantages of a tourist destination-opportunities and challenges for sustainable tourism development (Bucharest, Romania, 3-5 July 2013).
