27 new Affiliate Members approved at the 23rd UNWTO General Assembly

UNWTO is pleased to welcome 27 new Affiliate Members to the UNWTO Affiliate Member network.

The new Affiliate Members were recommended for approval by the Committee for Review of Affiliate Membership on 10 September 2019 and approved at the 23rd session of the UNWTO General Assembly on 11 September 2019. The Affiliate Members network keeps growing and we are proud to welcome these new members to our community. The 27 entities represent a variety of different subsectors within tourism: universities and research programmes, promotion agencies, tourism business management and consultancies, professional associations, travel agencies and tour operators, DMOs and trade fairs and exhibition management, as well as the first European bank to become a member. In total, 129 Affiliate Members have been admitted since the 22nd General Assembly and they were formally approved by the 23rd General Assembly.
