Tours
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan will offer tours to a number of unique places in Samarkand on 20 October 2023. Delegates are highly recommended to take part in these tours, which represent an exceptional opportunity to discover the touristic and cultural diversity of ancient Samarkand – the Crossroad of Cultures, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Participants are kindly requested to select one of the two excursion tour options in the registration form they would like to attend before 15 September 2023.
The journeys to ancient Samarkand will take place on October 20 in the morning (full day tour) and in the afternoon (half day tour).
The dress code for the occasion is casual. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable footwear.
