Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, A University of Advocating and upholding the fundamental values of Indian Culture with an aim of global cultural & spiritual renaissance, nestled in the serene landscapes of Uttarakhand, is abuzz with excitement as it hosts its annual World Tourism Day celebration. Organized by the Department of Travel & Tourism Management, this year's event is particularly special, focusing on the theme "Tourism & Peace."
Dr. Arunesh Parashar (Head of Dept.), Associate Professor, a seasoned academic and passionate advocate for sustainable tourism, brings extensive knowledge and insight to the department, inspiring students to explore the transformative power of travel.
Dr. Umakant Indolia(Head of Dept.), Associate Professor, known for his innovative approach to tourism education, fosters a vibrant learning environment, encouraging students to think critically about the role of tourism in promoting global harmony.
World Tourism Day began with full enthusiasm and creative activities. The event was started with the inaugural ceremony by respected HOD of Tourism Department, Dr. Arunesh Parashar sir and Dr. Umakant indolia sir with all faculty members and students of the Tourism Department. Atmosphere was filled with excitement as the celebration started. The event will feature a series of engaging games coordinated by the enthusiastic students (BBA & MBA) of the Travel & Tourism Management department, all designed around the theme of "Tourism & peace" . Participants will have the opportunity to explore how travel can bridge cultural divides and foster understanding among people from diverse backgrounds.
