The Japan Travel Bureau Foundation is a non-profit, independent tourism research institute. Our mission is to contribute to the well-balanced tourism development both in terms of consumer point-of-view and in industry perspective. JTB Foundation runs number of research projects using its own research fund and also range of consultancy service mainly for public sector, including the Japan Tourism Authority, other ministries, and local authorities. It publishes annual market reports for domestic tourism as well as outbound travel. It organizes seminars and symposiums for policy makers and industry people. It also runs a library dedicated for travel guide books and travel related readings.
