As the world tries to anchor itself amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, destination organizations and the Tourism & Hospitality Industries are seeking to apply a new perspective on destination, development and community engagement. Though the social and economic consequences are adverse, Tourism is in a unique position to contribute to broader recovery plans and action with international tourism, promoting solidarity and understanding, beyond borders and domestic tourism fostering cohesion.
Shifting the focus to digital meetings and events, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals, Supporting Livelihoods and Creating Opportunities.
We have planned, Two days of activities that would include:
Cultural Presentation by Students of Tourism Studies, on 24th September 2020 and
A Talk on Tourism Tourism Post COVID - 19, by
Ms. Kashish Jiandani and Mr. Anthony Mendonca, talking about the industry’s road to recovery, with shifting attitudes, budget adaptability, virtual connections, mindful marketing and re-evaluation of resources, thereby acting as a guiding light, in these uncertain times.
