The GLOBAL ECOTOURISM FORUM | GEF2025 (Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain) is a global event hosted by the Catalan Government (Generalitat de Catalunya) the spring of 2025 with the support from the Global Ecotourism Network (GEN), the main global network of experts in ecotourism worldwide with presence on the 5 continents. This unique event aims to evaluate lasts two decades since Quebec Convention (2002), to tackle current challenges sharing good practices, and to propose a set of recommendations and a roadmap for the next decade.
The 27 september 2023, will be launched with a onsite/online event the Save-the-Date of this global forum, with the participation of international ecotourism experts to celebrate de World Tourism Day related to Green Investments.
