While the African tourism industry presents significant opportunities, it also faces several challenges. This event aims to highlight the most recent research developments and latest advancements of the WiTH Africa's activities. The purpose of the "African Tourism Data Ecosystem: Navigating Challenges and Opportunities for Sustainable Growth" report is to present an overview of the African Tourism Data Ecosystem. It seeks to assess the state of data provision by each African country’s national statistics agency, review the tourism data available, the frequency of publication, the hosting websites, and their ‘Ease of Access’.
