Inaugural Event of the ESG Framework for Tourism Businesses

The Inaugural Event of the ‘ESG Framework for Tourism Businesses’ was held in UN Tourism Headquarters, Madrid, Spain on 30 September 2024.

This Inaugural Event will showcase the extensive research and development efforts undertaken by UN Tourism Statistics, Standards, and Data Department, in partnership with the University of Oxford SDG Impact Lab, to develop the first harmonised Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Framework tailored specifically tourism. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in interactive discussions to debate key aspects of the Framework and propose critical items for future action.
